Hendarsam juga menyebutkan efektivitas Aplikasi Pelaporan Orang Asing (APOA) yang terintegrasi dengan Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Polri) yang berkontribusi pada penangkapan 210 WNA terkait kasus penipuan investasi daring di Batam pada awal Mei 2026 sebagai upaya mencegah penyalahgunaan izin tinggal.
Di hari yang sama, Dirjen Imigrasi juga menghadiri pertemuan bilateral dengan Department of Home of Affairs (DHA) Australia.
