Metrokalsel.co.id,BANJARMASIN – Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan (SAR) Kelas A Banjarmasin menerima laporan hilang kontaknya Kapal Virgo Transport 8 yang sedang berlayar dari Surabaya menuju Banjarmasin, Minggu (13/9/26).
Pasalnya, Kapal Virgo rute Surabaya Banjarmasin tersebut membawa 243 orang penumpang.
Informasi kejadian diterima Kantor SAR Banjarmasin pada pukul 04.10 WITA dari Yoel Rihi, General Manager PT Virgo. Berdasarkan laporan tersebut, kapal dilaporkan hilang kontak sekitar pukul 02.00 WITA dinihari, setelah sebelumnya sempat melaporkan sedang menghadapi cuaca buruk dalam perjalanan menuju Banjarmasin.
Kapal Virgo Transport 8 diketahui berangkat dari Surabaya pada Sabtu (12/9/26) pukul 10.13 GMT.
Hingga laporan diterima, kapal belum dapat dihubungi dan keberadaannya belum diketahui. Posisi terakhir yang terdeteksi berada di perairan Laut Jawa, sekitar 80 mil laut dari Dermaga SAR Basirih, Banjarmasin.
Menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut, pada pukul 04.30 WITA Kantor SAR Banjarmasin memberangkatkan satu tim rescue berjumlah enam personel menggunakan Rescue Car D-Max menuju Dermaga SAR Basirih. Tim selanjutnya akan melanjutkan perjalanan menuju perkiraan lokasi posisi terakhir menggunakan KN SAR Laksmana 241, dengan estimasi waktu tempuh sekitar lima jam.
Dalam pelaksanaan operasi pencarian, Kantor SAR Banjarmasin berkoordinasi dengan sejumlah instansi terkait, di antaranya KSOP Banjarmasin, Lanal Banjarmasin, Ditpolairud Polda Kalimantan Selatan, Distrik Navigasi Banjarmasin, PT Pelindo Banjarmasin, serta agen kapal Virgo Cabang Banjarmasin.
Sejumlah peralatan telah disiapkan untuk mendukung operasi, meliputi KN SAR Laksmana 241, Rescue Car D-Max, peralatan water rescue, dua set peralatan selam, perangkat komunikasi, Starlink, serta peralatan pendukung lainnya.
Kondisi cuaca di wilayah Kantor SAR Banjarmasin dilaporkan cerah, sementara perkembangan cuaca di wilayah pencarian akan terus dipantau oleh tim.
Kepala Kantor SAR Kelas A Banjarmasin melalui SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) I Putu Sudayana menyatakan, pencarian akan dilakukan secara optimal dengan melibatkan seluruh unsur terkait.
“Kami telah menerima laporan terkait hilang kontaknya Kapal Virgo Transport 8 dan segera mengerahkan personel serta KN SAR Laksmana 241 menuju lokasi perkiraan posisi terakhir. Mengingat jumlah penumpang dan awak kapal yang cukup banyak, kami mengoptimalkan koordinasi dengan seluruh unsur terkait untuk mempercepat proses pencarian dan memastikan keselamatan seluruh penumpang serta awak kapal,” ujar I Putu Sudayana.
Kantor SAR Kelas A Banjarmasin mengimbau masyarakat maupun keluarga penumpang untuk tetap tenang dan menunggu informasi resmi dari petugas.(hdy)
